One thing I’m pretty fascinated by and passionate about is land usage and how it pertains to agriculture. I find it pretty disheartening to see land paved over left and right while simultaneously being told by activists that animal agriculture is destroying the planet and a waste of our precious limited resources.
And while this makes a fine talking point, a lot of thought has lead me to use caution in using points like this as a defensive tool. In this piece for the great folks at AGDAILY.com, I delve deeper into this food for though.
What do you think about land usage and agriculture’s role in its preservation and sustainability? Do you think land mass is a valid or moot point in the agriculture discussion?
